Name Doodles is owned and operated by a stay-at-home mother.

I saw with my two children how easy it was for them to learn to spell their name, if they saw it often.  Through the repetition of showing them their name, my children learned, at first, to recognize the letters and eventually to spell their name.

With my children and their friends as inspiration, I created Name Doodles. Aware of how much children love animals, I developed an animal based alphabet that will help children learn the letters and an animal that starts with that letter.  I created letters that are bright, colorful and inviting to children.  I also made sure that each letter was bold, with its shape easily identifiable for the child.

Each Name Doodle wall plaque is individually created.  After you choose either a primary or pastel palette, I put together the best color and animal combination for the name.  I also strive, where the animal kingdom allows, to have a different animal for every letter of the name, even if a letter is repeated.  For example, if you order Matthew one T will be a tiger and the other will be a turtle.  Or if you order Emma, one M will be a monkey and the other will be a mouse.  Please realize that with a few letters I am limited by what the animal kingdom offers.

After the success of our original Name Doodle wall plaque, we added two new additional products.  Our monogram art uses our animal letters to create memorable keepsake or a child's birthdate.  We give you the option of adding length and weight details.  Our animal alphabet poster allows you to show a child the whole alphabet with our bright, colorful animals.  It is ideal for animal lovers.  We also added our ceramic ware line which provide several other gift ideas.

Name Doodles are sold framed and ready to hang.  I know how busy a mother with children can be.  If she has to go to the framer to place an order and then pick it up, the  Name Doodle may never be hung on the wall.  Additionally, several Name Doodles are a unique size. This requires a custom frame, which can be pricey.  I order frames and mats in volume and pass along the best price to my customer.
